Kathy King

The Trip Atelier was started by Kathy King who happily says that I made many of her best memories traveling. She works with couples, individuals, and families to create their own travel adventures. Travel has a unique power to buoy us as individuals while also bringing us together as loved ones. From the breathtaking views in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings in Egypt to river cruising along the Danube, all the way to the beaches of Mauritius, Kathy’s own travel continues to fuel her enthusiasm for the dreams every client brings to the agency.

Many of Kathy’s personal travel experiences ventured off the beaten path, and others were to destinations that only later became vogue. She has extraordinary insights into how to navigate dozens of countries and hundreds of cities and sites, especially after making many of her own solo trips.

Kathy King was our fairy godmother when it came to planning our honeymoon in Amsterdam and Switzerland. We wanted romance, comfort, and leisure without too many obligations day-to-day while we were there — and man, did she come through for us. Each of our hotels were an absolute dream with amazing views, incredible restaurants within walking distance, and hospitality to die for. We felt that she understood our personal needs and had an exceptional attention to detail. We’re homebodies and had never traveled to Europe before, but now we have the travel-bug and cannot wait for more adventures. I can’t speak highly enough of Kathy and all she did for us to make our first European experience seamless – from currency exchange, to navigating public transportation, to our trains being unexpectedly cancelled. We had the honeymoon of our dreams and will absolutely be using their services again!

Contrary to popular belief, Lorem Ipsum is not simply random text. It has roots in a piece of classical Latin literature from 45 BC, making it over 2000 years old. Richard McClintock, a Latin professor at Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, looked up one of the more obscure Latin words, consectetur, from a Lorem Ipsum passage, and going through the cites of the word in classical literature, discovered the undoubtable source.
