Hi! I’m Kathy! As the owner of The Trip Atelier, I have traveled to over 50 countries, bringing a wealth of experience and a background in anesthesia to my travel planning. This unique combination has honed my attention to detail, ensuring every trip I plan is seamless and meticulously organized.
I started The Trip Atelier because many of my best memories come from traveling. I work with couples, individuals, and families to help them create their own travel adventures. Travel has a unique power to buoy us as individuals while also bringing us together as loved ones.
From the breathtaking views in a hot air balloon over the Valley of the Kings in Egypt to river cruising along the Danube, all the way to the beaches of Mauritius, my own travel experiences continue to fuel my enthusiasm for the dreams every client brings to the agency.
Many of my personal travel experiences ventured off the beaten path, and others were to destinations that only later became vogue. I have extraordinary insights into how to navigate dozens of countries and hundreds of cities and sites, especially after making many of my own solo trips.

A Note From Kathy
Travel made me who I am. There are many ways to see the world, but so often we hear about people who are the travel “types” instead of focusing on the types of travel that speak to each of us, individually.
The way I take on everything in life was shaped by travel from early on, starting from my very first trip abroad at nine years old. Even when I was a single mom, I never felt that should stop me from continuing to value and prioritize the experiences that brought me joy. And joy, for me, was travel. To date, I’ve seen over 50 countries. Just 100 more to go!
